| I am the bio mother of three girls and a step mother to 1 boy and 1 girl. When I married my husband he already had custody of his two children, so we had a houseful. They are 15-25 years old now, so only two are under 18. These past 10 years have presented challenges that we thought would never pass. Thankfully, we survived, but we know many others do not.
I have taken my experiences, combined with my education, and started my own coaching business to help families in transition. I specialize in helping families redifine their definition of family and develop realistic expectations. My services are offered over the phone and internet, so I work with people from all over the world. |

| I have a wonderful husband, Darren, who has been very supportive throughout the years. He always stood by me when I went through rough times with my stepkids and I can't believe that he put up with me all of these years.
My oldest daughter is 25, followed by another that is 21 and another that is 16. My two stepkids are 18 and 14 (the youngest is the only boy!). The five of them have all struggled at one point or another, but they all love each other and wouldn't want our family to be without any one of them.
