| My son, Cody, is 14 years old. He is very passionate about his faith in God, loves his friends, loves his family. If I would of had him diagnosed he would of been labeled ADHD as a young child - we started what is called the Feingold diet and that was a huge help in the focusing/hyperactivity issue. Now, as a teenager he doesn't have the hyperactivity stuff but certainly does have a focusing problem-
My daughter, Carlie, is soon to be 6 and will be starting a Spanish Immersion Kindergarten in a public school in August 08. I have struggled with Carlie - her huge imagination, "imaginary friends", her questions/comments to me -"mommy, do we live in a dream?" are a bit overwhelming for me. Carlie has absolutely no fear, loves people, loves animals, and is on the go...at times in her own little world and others playing with others perfectly ( I think as long as the imagination of the other child is active as well).
I am quite new at learning what an Indigo child is and I wonder if Carlie is one. |
