| I went through this when I was living at home. My 2 younger brothers shared a room also in a three bedroom house. My brothers were only 1 1/2 year apart. |

if you have one of each and plan on a third you would want to put the baby with the same sex sibling, if it's a boy then I would trade rooms so they can share.
my kids are 13 years apart but my friend has 2 daughters that are only 3 years apart and they share a room. No matter what you will have ups and downs just something you have to explain to the older one and something you have to try and make work. |

| I think since the children are so small, it would be ok to put the two oldest in the same room - only because the new baby will be waking up crying and you wouldnt want the baby to disturb the other children. Once the new baby gets older and doesnt wake up as often, put the two same sex children in the same room. I will have the same problem (when I get my own place) b/c I have a 4 yr old boy, 3 yr old girl, and 2 yr old twins who are a boy and a girl, so I would put the two girls and two boys in the same room, even though the twins would be in separate rooms from eachother. |

| Currently we have all three of our kids in one room. We needed the third bedroom for a family member in need. My kids are 1-2 and 3. They go girl- girl- boy. It's rough at first cause they all have different sleep prefereces. But they adjust. We had to make it fun. We bought cling on wall stickers and let them "redecorate" the room. |

We have three girls (3yrs/2yrs/9mns) and a small 2 bedrm. house. My daughters all share a room. The older 2 are pretty good, but it has been more difficult w/ the 3rd baby now vs. when my 2nd was a baby. Number 3 stays asleep well, but going to or back to sleep is tough. I can't just let her cry (this is in p.m. & for any naps) b/c toddlers have difficulties w/ it.
We built a 3rd room for ourselves into our garage this summer. I'm anxious about getting the babe alone in the smaller room. Hopefully things change.
W/ us, we don't have any gender issues. But, up to early-elementry age, I don't feel there's anything wrong w/ brothers & sisters sharing a room. I shared w/ my brother (15 mns older) up until 2nd or 3rd grade. |
