Among all the kitsch of Hampden is this contemporary little jewel of a restaurant. It's tucked into a narrow rowhouse, complete with stamped-tin ceiling and exposed-brick walls. And the food -- what to choose? Come if you like vegetables: Grill Art has wonderful salads, stuffed portobellos, pizzas, and interesting sandwiches, such as a BLT jazzed up with avocado and made with fresh bread. Dinner entrees include enchiladas and tortellini stew. Since there's no liquor license, it's BYOB. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday. There's a great coffee bar, too.
