| Hi, my name is Manuela and I come from Italy. My husband is american and we moved together to the States 2 years ago. I've got 2 kids, one ready for the College and the other one still attending the elementary school and I am expecting the third one, a baby girl on march. Even if we moved to my husband's hometown, we don't have any friends with kids. I'd like to meet parents in our situation, open minded, who speak 2 or more languages. Forget to say that I attended a professional photography course and so far is my first passion, hopefully in the future it will become a profession. |

| My daughter Nicole is a very good girl. Moving at the age of 18 from a country to another one for her was a big challenge and change. She showed a great adjustment and not only she was able to accept the different system, the different culture, but she was able to share her culture with her new friends and teachers. She has received high honors in junior and senior grades and hopefully she will graduate with high honors. She's a quite and sensitive girl. Very responsible in her choices and daily life, she already chose the College to attend. Very proud of her.
My boy is active, sensitive, loves playing sports and he's opened to new adventures. He likes talking and loves geography. Like me as a child, he spends lots of time on drawing and exploring maps. He loves animals and now he's in the period of Dinosaurs! Very friendly, it wasn't hard at all for him to make new friends in his adopted country, starting from zero on learning a language completely new to him.
I met my husband years ago on a baseball field in Italy. One of the first things I liked of him, was that he was so romantic and very sensitive to my needs. Distance kept us far many times and months, but now we are here and we've been sharing our lives together and daily, in a new environment, new country, new challenges. |
