I'm a mother of 2 absolutely phenomenal kids. I'm a stay at home mom, very new to the city, just moved due to my husband being relocated for work. I have met some very lovely neighbours, otherwise I do not know a soul. I'm not sure exactly what I'm using this service for, but I thought it would be a good place to start to sort of navigate my way through this transition. |

My son is 4.5. He's just awesome. How do you sum up your perfect little being into words, or just how much you love them, it seems impossible. He is very easy going, a cool dude. He is thriving at school, makes friends very easily. Very sociable, however interestingly enough he is an introvert. Sometimes shy, however mostly just observant and can be very chatty when he wants to be. He is an amazing older brother who seems to want 4 more siblings (not happening!). He is eager to learn new things. Loves all sports and enjoys the outdoors.
My little girl will be 2 in a few months. When I got pregnant I had this silent fear, not knowing if I was going to be able to love my second one as much as my first, what if she's not as awesome as my son, what if I'm not as good of a mother to her as I am to him...and then she was born. And my fears diminished and I fell in love all over again. It just happens...a mother has an abundance of love, that I suppose I would never have realized until I experienced it. My little girl is my new best friend. She makes me laugh, her smile is infectious, she loves her brother and copies everything he does (even the naughty things!). She completes our family and we can't imagine life without her.
My kids make life better.
My husband is also pretty awesome :) We've been married for just over 3 years but have been in a relationship for about 12 years. We met at university through a mutual friend. And here we are today :) He works very hard and has exceeded expectations at work, which is why he has been relocated here from Toronto, where we are both from. He loves his job, which makes this transition all that much easier. He loves our kids, I've seen him fall in love 3 times now! He's very protective, and a very big teddy bear. |
