| I'm a SAHM that is striving (or struggling) to have the patience, energy and, wisdom to be the best mommy I can be to my sweet boy! I'm also a wife, friend and lady...no matter what anybody else says! LOL
I am learning, daily, how to be a parent to my son Jakeb who is a awesome 5yr old boy & on the Autism Spectrum (High functioning?). Also I am a supportive step parent since 2003 to Dylan (just graduated ASU) & Shawna (currently attending SDSU). Then there's my grown child...UH I Mean...Husband of 10yrs! Hmm...Nough said!?!
In other words... I'M COMPLETELY INSANE, BROKE & TIRED BUT ENJOYING EVERY BIT I CAN!!! |

| My husband and I have been married for 10yrs. Sometimes very happily and sometimes really not! After both being laid off we bought ourselves jobs in the form of a neighborhood bar. This was a dream come true and nightmare all at once. My husband has two beautiful children from his first marriage and so we've struggled to stay in the area and close to them and really didn't think we'd be able to have one of our own due to my medicle history. Then 5+ yrs ago...Surprise! It's not the flu! We have since sold the bar, hubby went back to work in high tech sales/marketing and I became a SAHM which I never thought I would be completely. Our son Jakeb is AWESOME! He is loving, very enegetic and, so smart. My biggest joy ever! He has also been my biggest challenge as he has presented many red flags beginning at around age 3.5 for being on the Autism Spectrum and I have/am struggling to get him (and I) whatever assistance there is available/needed. This has not been easy in more ways than I can say here but we are making progress! I think...? We got out of bed and dressed today so...YAY! ;-) |
