yardenin' & gardenin', cooking(I'm no chef, but I do pretty well, I think...He cooks things like pies, which is really nice.), hanging out at home with 'the kiddos', movies, documentaries(I love history.), cartoons, zombies, light reading, re-purposing EVERYTHING(We're not really 'green' people, but we try), decorating our new-to-us home, refinishing furniture(getting ready to do a lot of that), potty-training(wishing we were done), playing board games or cards(usually with the kids.lol), art of all kinds, just gettin'by day to day & being happy ;) |

| I am a recent, but again, a stay-at-home-mom. Yes, I still use the phrase, 'stay-at-home-mom', because it fits me...I am no diva,for sure, but I'm sure some would disagree at times(lol), and I would not call myself a 'home-maker', as I am not really the skirt-wearing, over-religious(although I do have faith and a real sense of spirit) type either. I suppose, I am more of yer average sorta-hippy, makes her own soap, sorta gal. I'm getting pretty laid back in my old age. HaHa! I am the mother of four, ages 21-3, and the step-mother of 2, ages 18 and 13. I am 37 and The Hubs is 36. We are also going to be grandparents just before the holidays, So we are pretty excited about that. It will be interesting to hand down practically new baby, and kiddos items, to my daughter(My oldest) for her first child....and the thought of our 3 year old being an aunt. Wow, interesting. With all these kids between us, one would think we'd be crazy busy, but the oldest two are grown, and we 'share' the middle four with 'their other parents'. lol. So the only child we have 100% of the time is the youngest girl(3). Our life is actually, very quiet, compared to most. We eat every dinner 'in', He works full-time, and I stay home with Miss Emma. I was busy with school, but am out for the summer, and will not be returning for a while due to some health issues. We(Troy and I), will be on here together. We are seeking other families to socialize with, and play-dates for Me and Miss Emma, either in planned groups or just moms and kids hanging out. Emma is really missing her buddies at the daycare, where she's been since I've been in school, and needs some new play-mates. (At our ages, all of the people we know, or socialize with, don't have little kids. lol) If you've read this far,through my ramblings, and you're not bored to tears, or completely confused, and you'd like to get to know some normal-ish, nothin'flashy folks, then we just might need to get to know each other. *Disclaimer: CREEPERS NEED NOT APPLY. ;) |
