| I'm a former teacher and am now working on a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I'm getting married for the first time this July to my soul-mate--who has two boys, 7 and 13. I'm new to all of this! Help! I do not have a child of my own, but I dream of bringing a baby into the family. I am hoping to talk with other women who have similar life situations. |

| As of July, I will be a stepmom to two boys, ages 7 and 13. The younger boy loves art and is now obsessed with magic, too. He's high energy and needs lots of attention and affection. The older boy is officially entering teenager-hood. He has a good heart, a sharp mind, and a love for life. He struggles to accept his parents' divorce and his Dad's remarriage. We have a good relationship, but it can be hot/cold. The boys' Dad is my dream guy who just wants everybody to be doing great. And he wears himself out trying. |
