Its been a week and I am able to see a tremendous change in our household staying at home and all. Our child has autism, and terrible aggression revolving mainly separation anxiety(only revolving babysitters and the select few he wont do it for are unavailable for one reason or another). Thing is I'm expected to go back to work from leave of absence they allowed me to have to figure out what we were gonna do. I told them I may need to stay at home, but I'd think of my options. Our son had a terrible explosion at babysitters in which his aggression sent the babysitter calling us and telling s she was nervous and could nt do it. Were trying to figure out money part, and glean wisdom and support. Anyone else here have kids on the autism spectrum, Id love to know what you have to say too. We dont believe in giving him meds, but hes calmed quite a bit being at home. He does get sick a lot though. Autism comes with poor immune system. And hes nonverbal! |

My hsband and I are likeminded that we want to follow Jesus more as a family, and my 3 year old son agrees with anything but brushing his teeth and taking Tylenol and going to bed. We all tend to be fun loving, though my husband worries more. My son is nonverbal, on the autism spectrum and sometimes has agression issues but not as bad since he left sitters a week ago. He loves classical music, veggietales, and getting into Franklin. He also loves to spin anything and everything even himself, and were having a hard time deviating him from that |
