Movies, music, cooking, all types of cuisine, farmers' markets, holidays, traveling, learning, going to concerts, theaters, ballgames, and hockey games, going out on the town with my husband and/or friends, running (when I get the chance), entertaining, being outside and playing with my son, exploring neighborhoods and their offerings, and having fun, fun, fun. :o) |

| I am a SAHM of a 4 1/2 year old boy. My husband, son and I are moving to Harrison, NY in September, from San Francisco. I am originally from Detroit, MI and worked in Manhattan for six years after I graduated from college. Though I am a dedicated mother and do a lot with my son, I also believe that I can have a social life outside of motherhood, and am looking for moms who feel the same. I am 40+ years old and worked up until my son was born. I am interested in meeting other SAHMs with preschool aged children to get together for playdates, excursions, lunches at each other's homes (while the kiddies play) and, hopefully, mom's/parent's nights out or weekend dinner parties with other families. I, also, look forward to learning from other parents about what Westchester has to offer in terms of activities and services for kids and families. |

| We have a 4 1/2 year old boy. He is our only child, and is very social, active, and has a great imagination. He plays well by himself or with other kids, and is not afraid to ask other kids to play with him when we are at parks or indoor play places. We've always encouraged him to be social and make friends, which he easily does. His favorite TV show, currently, is the "Aquabats Super Show" on the Hub network - a silly show, but harmless. He likes playgrounds, cars, construction equipment, superheroes, trains, planes, firetrucks, Transformers, Star Wars, Legos, playing with, or in the, water, and I could go on and on. Dislikes include vegetables and pretty much anything green in his food, and some sweets like birthday cake (go figure), cupcakes and pie. He doesn't like when we lecture him on manners at the table, stalling when we ask him to do something, or not using "potty" words. My husband, mostly, has the same interests as me, and shares some likes with our son such as Star Wars, Transformers, and other nerdy things. He is my son's big toy and my best friend. He likes music and finding new bands to listen to, movies, good food, good beer, baseball, and is a HUGE Detroit Tigers fan (sorry Yankees fans). He is not interested in staying home on weekends and watching sporting events on TV (thank goodness), but he does enjoy the occasional lazy Saturday or Sunday. He will be working in mid-town Manhattan at Sony Music, and is hoping to meet other dads in Westchester with whom he can hang out and enjoy some male camaraderie. |
