Staying active (walking, working out, running, doing chores, etc.), cooking and baking, trivia games, college football (Alabama fan!), SHOPPING, reading magazines, playing with my son, teaching my son, conversing with my son, spending time with my husband, playing basketball and softball, making lists, reading interesting scientific articles and books, watching my favorite TV shows from time to time (The Vampire Diaries, Make It or Break It, Glee, Smallville, River Monsters, and One Tree Hill), singing, dancing, and listening to music (mostly alternative rock, some pop, or progressive pop) |

| I'll be 25 years old next month. I am a first-time mother to a beautiful almost 11-month-old baby boy. I like to think of myself as pretty outgoing. Once you get me talking, I don't shut up. I think my son may be following in my footsteps as far as talking is concerned. I hope to find other members that are very "family oriented" and are also stay-at-home mothers looking to get out and about and meet new people. I was attending George Mason University pursuing a degree in Biology, but have since had to put my schooling on hold to take care of my son. I hope to re-enroll in school once my son gets a little older. Right now, it feels as if my only friend is an 11-month-old baby. I would love to be able to set up play dates with other parents/mothers who also would like for their children to play with other children and to share stories and experiences with other parents. I know it sounds really sad, but I need to get out of the house. Not just for my well-being, but for my son's as well. |

| My son's name is Aidan. He will be 11 months old on October 22nd. He's a very joyful and hyperactive ball of energy. He never lets anything slow him down! He's such a smart and amazing baby! He loves watching Sesame Street, Baby First programming, and the Backyardigans, although he only will pay attention to them for a very short while. He thinks mirrors are the greatest invention ever! He will sit and chat with himself in the mirror for such a long time! He loves to be tickled. He is absolutely mesmerized by his father, of whom he is the spitting image. He enjoys exploring everything around him! He loves meeting new people and children. He's my little entertainer! My husband's name is Alex. He is a police officer with Prince William County Police Department. He enjoys helping people and getting the "bad guys" off the street. Of course, he gets great enjoyment out of watching good movies. He is a huge fan of playing video games. His faves are Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet (with my son), Duke Nukem, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Mario Brothers, Dragon Age Origins, Oblivion, Fallout, too many to list! He has many different game systems and likes to jump between new games and old school games from time to time. He enjoys spending time with us, although with his schedule he doesn't get to do a whole lot of. He also enjoys staying in shape and working out. We all love to eat!! |
