| I am a stay at home mother of two boys, Drew born January 2009, and Ryan born December 2010.
I aim to be a gentle parent and create structure without raising my voice or using corporal punishment. That said, I do not always hit the target and understand that my children are young and my parenting style may need to evolve as they age.
I try to maintain a balance in all areas of my (and my family's!) life, and not go too extreme with any one idea.
I like to laugh, look on the bright side, and just live life. I enjoy long (stroller led) walks on the...wait! at the park, and I am looking for like-minded mommy-friends with similarly aged children with which to enjoy short adult conversations between long stretches of playing....mail order (friends) anyone?! :D |

| Drew is a very gentle, cautious boy. He wants an adult to help him with everything. Right now he loves dinosaurs and animals, and cant seem to think about anything else..including going potty! He loves his baby brother, but imagined he'd be a whole lot more fun (go figure!).
Ryan is just beginning to learn to crawl. He wants to be right in the action all of the time. He hates it when I hide his toes with socks or any other garment. I have a feeling he wont be nearly as subdued as his big brother!
My husband, Andy, works at a title insurance company here in town. When he's not working he likes to spend so much time with the boys, that often the lawn goes un-mowed and household projects go unfinished. :P |
