| I am a very involved mom. I am a fan of attachment parenting and Montessori style education. I love to read about new discoveries in developmental psychology. My daughter is turning one this summer and will be going to her first daycare. We would love to hear people's advice about the best local daycares and children's events. (We are new to WA). We would also love to attend play-dates and meet like-minded folks. |

| My husband is in the military so we have moved around a lot. We were the first of our friends to have a baby. Consequently our daughter has not had much interaction with other children, but she loves playing with grown-ups as long as her mom and dad are around. Her favorite pastimes include beating on things, chewing on things, and being outside. She also loves to practice her new skills like standing and saying her first word. |
