| I am a new mom of a now 2 1/2yr old daughter adopted from China in June 09. She was 13mos at the time. She has a cleft lip and palate that was repaired w/5 surgeries so far. I am looking for a group of moms/children for her and I to get to know and socialize. We don't know many people with children her age. |

| Mya is a free spirit, very strong, smart and determined. She has been thru a lot in her life so far with her being from China, abandoned at 3 days old, living in an orphanage for 13 mos of her life. Then coming "home" to the US with "strangers". She's had 5 cleft lip/palate surgeries in Pittsburgh since her adoption in June 09. She is my inspiration. My husband is Jason and he's a corrections officer in the state prison system. I worked at a bank up until out adoption. Now, thankfully, I'm able to stay at home with our daughter. We struggled with infertility for 14 yrs prior to our adoption. We have been married 18 yrs and are both 38 yrs old. |
