| I'm a new mom just looking for other moms with kids my sons age, he is 5 months, so birth to one year or so. I have been a nanny for over ten years and love being around kids. I don't know many people in the area at all and would like to make a few friends for myself as well. I am easy going and like to be around others that are also. When describing myself I guess I would have to say that I am not a typical mom, My husband and I went to a tool concert when I was eight months pregnant, I don't wear makeup at all, no dresses or skirts (unless I'm way pregnant;), my husbands a better cook than I am, I could go on and on but you get the picture. On the other hand, I do love shopping (clearancing, actually) and I am very attentive to my son. |

| My son rocks at life, of course:) He is almost five months old and most of all he loves water in any form (shower, pool, bath), being outside, and being held. He may be just a ted bit spoiled, but is a good baby. He use to dislike tummy time but has since decided it is not so bad.He has only been around two other children and new born and a toddler (the family I use to nanny for) and seemed to enjoy it. I would like for him to make other friends his age too. My husband is a huge dork and he knows it, or geek may be more a correct term. He enjoys video games, writing, movies, camping, music, cooking, and being a dad, really, he is an awesome dad. He works with developmentally disabled adults and writes for work. He works the swing shift on 4-tens. so our schedule is a bit funny. My mother moved here from Florida a few months before my son was born and is living with us for now. She also works with developmentally disabled adults and loves reading more than anyone I've ever met!! |
