| I just moved to the Sparks area from Southern California, I am looking for a group to join for mommy topics such as pediatricians and anything else that arises while raising my twin toddlers. I would also like to join a group as an opportunity to meet other mothers and to get out once in awhile without the kids. |

| I have twin girls, Ava and Avery, that turned 3 in June. I am 37 and they are running me ragged!! They have been fighting since Avery was 5 mo. and had enough teeth to bite. They are playing better together each day, but the fighting continues. I was a social worker for 9 years before having them and am now a SAHM. Ava is very friendly and usually doesn't have a problem going to school or nursery at church, but Avery has some attachment issues. It takes her a long while to get used to a new caretaker. My husband recently took a new job at Kinross as an HR Director of North America (or something like that). I grew up in Florida, but went to college in Idaho and Utah. Met my husband in UT and lived there until 2 years ago when we moved to Southern California. I found that the mom's group there was a tremendous help for answering questions and meeting new friends, and getting a much needed break! If you are wondering why I am 37 and have 3 year olds, the answer is I had fertility issues. After trying many different treatments, I finally was successful with In Vitro and got twins. Two for the price of one! |
