I am a loving, patient mother who is seeking advise on coping skills and just to listen to what I have to say about my 5 year old daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 3. |
|
My daughter, Kayla, is 5 years old. She has recieved services offered by early intervention at the age 2-4. She currently is not eligible for services and is attending Kindergarten at ps35. Kayla struggles with ADHD and it often frustrates me to no end. I have tried almost everything and I am worn out. She is on medication but it wears off and is not on it all day long. When she was re-evaluated this year, I was told that she has a high IQ. She is a smart, loving girl who is battling a very sever disorder that she did not ask to have.
I have a wonderful son, JUstin, 2 years old who enjoys playing with his sister and others. He often is too attached to me and dislikes it when I leave him with other people.
My husband is a great provider and a loving and caring husband who has a huge heart. I would really like if he spent more time doing fun things with his children but instead spends it doing things for himself. |
