| I am new to the area and am looking for playgroups for my 2 year old and mommy groups for me. I am outgoing and friendly and have a good sense of humor. I am interested in socialization and making friends, both for me and my baby. I was a 4th grade teacher before I had my baby, and my Air Force husband and I moved here in October 2009 from Anchorage, Alaska. (He has just retired.) | My baby just turned 2 on March 10, 2010. She likes "reading" books, music, playing with toys, walks, and is REALLY into "doggies." She doesn't like riding in the car, strangers (although she'll usually warm up to them, and it's only with adults.) or green beans. She has always been a very easy-going, smiley baby but is starting to exhibit "terrible 2s" behavior. My husband just retired from teh USAF after 28 years and we chose Clarksville to be our home. He likes reading, running, etc. He is a bit of an introvert and doesn't talk much in groups he doesn't know, but he's a wonderful public speaker and a fantastic daddy. he does things with our daughter all the time. He's going a little nuts right now looking for a job post-retirement. |
