| Former elementary school teacher (1/2, 5, then K-5 ESL), now an attorney in civil practice. My son tests extremely high in academics, has always been very intelligent in all areas, but his teachers say he needs to "slow down." Now they are throwing out "ADHD" and "medication" regarding him, and saying that he fits the profile for that. I think he's bored and a class of 33 kids with one teacher just doesn't meet his needs. |
