| I am married, have five children, four of which are adults and live on their own. My youngest daughter, Izabella, is six-years-old, and was recently diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder. Her earlier diagnoses include ADHD, SPD, and Type I Diabetes. I am in the process of starting a playgroup for children with special needs and their parents/caregivers. I am enjoying talking to other parents, sharing stories, concerns, breakthroughs, and experiences. The reason why I want to start this playgroup is because I want to be a part of something that benefits these kids and their families, and helps make life a little better for them all. |
