| I was a Social Worker for the State of NJ working with adults and children with developmental disabilities prior to having my son. I was newly engaged and found out we were pregnant and we were excited about the new arrival.....I moved from NJ to FL to live with my fiiance.
Our son Garrett was born 2 months premature with over 2lbs of fluid under his skin and his heart was enlarged, he need a Heart Transplant to survive.....he received a new Heart at 3 months old, weighing 6lbs. We just celebrated his year Heart Anniversary yesterday 11/16/08 and Thank God and the donor family for our miracle.
We moved back to NJ, to be close to my family, in May 09. My family and friends all work and I'm a stay at home mom. Now that our son's medical appointments have slowed down, I'm looking to meet other stay at home mom's in the area and become more involved in community activities. |

| Our son Garrett is 15 months old and is just starting to sit up independently. He had a Heart Transplant when he was 3 months old and is doing very well! He's very happy and social and loves to watch other children playing. He started clapping yesterday, we're so excited for every milestone to come! |
