I'm a mother of three and feel it! At the moment the kids are 8, 6 and 3, the oldest being an Indigo child (boy), the second a Crystal (daughter) and the third a Rainbow (daughter). I am a freelance writer working from home and juggling the children, their needs, and my work is demanding and often draining. I'd say being a parent is by far the hardest thing I've done! |

My oldest is a boy and a typical indigo child - he gets easily distracted, bores easily and the word 'focus' is in very small, fine print in his dictionary... His brain doesn't seem wired for linear, step-by-step trains of thought. Instead he will naturally jump to the answer at the end or to the conclusion, which is challenging when it comes to fitting into school expectations... He has excellent hand-eye co-ordination and is very good at sports, football and rugby being his two favourite sports right now. Again like an indigo he gets affected by the moods and atmosphere around him but he is is a genuinely loving and caring boy.
My second (daughter) is a highly focused girl who has an infectious giggle and is a Tigger-like bouncer. She was not into "girl things" at all for the first few years of her life and has only just recently conceded to play with a soft toy or doll, or wear a skirt or dress. Her things are taekwondo, yoga and she's quite a fast runner too. A spirited, open girl who knows her own mind.
Number 3 is a daughter, with the aura and energy of fairies. Full of love, hugs and kisses, she has - simultaneously running through her core - a very strong sense of self. |
