| I'm a journalist and author who very late had a surprise baby boy after years of not being able to have children! My husband and I moved to northern California relatively recently after years in the Los Angeles area, where I still commute to on a regular basis to teach and other work-related things. Because my son is an only child and I work from home, we don't know many people here. I'd like him to have some friends! I would also like to find a community of active, professionally or creatively minded moms with whom I can connect. Thanks! |

| My son Benen is all boy, into everything (help!). He's cautious with new people, but warms up quickly. He seems to love being outdoors and seems to have no fear when it comes to any animal. My husband, a former musician, is an outdoor guy too. It's the second marriage for both of us. |
