| I am an Independent Certified Baby SignsŪ Instructor in Austin, TX. I teach Parent Workshops and six-week play classes for babies (recommended age - at least 8 months) and parents to learn basic signs for normal routines (mealtime, bedtime, bath time, etc.). A more advanced class for older toddlers delves into signs for feelings and safety, etc. and in the emotional development that signing benefits. These classes are huge fun for babies and the parents learn how to teach the signs and what to expect as their child goes through the process. The evening Parent Workshops (for parents only) are for parents who want to start earlier or are working.
New classes have now been added called "On The Grow" and they are less expensive (usually $15 for a one-time class) and address ages expecting to 5 yrs. old. There's even a class for expecting mom (or new baby 2-6 mths) and older child (2-5 yrs.) to help the child adjust to the new arrival.
