| I have legal custody of one grand-daughter, who is almost 8 yrs. old. My son, her father is deceased. I am a single NANE2MOTHER. I had to retire from nursing because of health reasons. I am looking for other members/friends to talk to that has a little understanding of what it is like. My grand-daughter, whom I'll call Cori, was diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder, oppositional deficient disorder, epilepsy right after I got temporary legal custody of her. All my friends are at the age that they don't want to get together with us socially. I have no family that I can call on to help out because of her ODD. I need a friend. |

| My oldest grandchild is 18. He's in the Marines boot camp now, His half-brother is 9 yrs. old.These two are my daughter's children. My son is deceased. His wife became a illegal drug user. And that's why I have custody.
Cori is very loving at times, but at times she is very bossy, wants to control all my life. I can only write this now because she is asleep. She is beautiful with a very outgoing personality at times. At other times she clings to me and won't speak. She has a great imagination and loves playing pretend. |
