| I have two beautiful daughters, ages 14 and 12. My 14 year old is so very much a teenager. She just made freshman cheerleading for her high school and is very into all the girly girl stuff. Shopping is probably her favorite thing to do, but she also enjoys some sports (volleyball, running, playing catch with a football). She loves children and is hoping to become a pediatrician. Boys are not that big of a deal to her yet (good thing!) and she really does not like to help out around the house. My 12 year old is really starting to enjoy spending more time with her friends and wants to be like her older sister, even though she will not admit it. Her favorite things to do involve the TV and the computer (not good :-( ), but we are working on that. She loves to scrapbook and loves children like her sister. She is looking forward to being the only one from our family in her middle school now that her sister is on her way to high school. Both of the girls want a dog, but their dad is not into it yet. My husband is somewhat of a workaholic, whether it is office work or working around the house; he cannot sit still. His favorite activities are golfing, hunting with his brother and fishing. He is in the financial world so being careful how he spends money is important to him. He cherishes family and traditions that go along with family. Change is hard for him and it usually takes him awhile to warm up to new ideas/ways of doing things. We have been married for going on 17 years. |
