| Hi! I am Laura. I am not sure of how you would describe me. I am eclectic, I suppose. I am a work from home-teach from home mama. I work as a life coach and a spiritual reader online and via phone.
I am very progressive and involved with politics. I read profusely and often my partner, Justin, laughs at how quickly and yet thoroughly go through a book. I enjoy tattoos, good wine, good conversation, my family, cooking and all things exercise be it yoga (about 5 days a week), running (7 days a week) or hiking (as often as we can in the summer!) I enjoy challenging myself physically.
I am also a writer, doing my own blogging and looking for freelance work. I am looking towards meeting other mothers for friendship but also to help further my sons socialization. As a work from home and teach from home mama it can be hard to make sure that he is surrounded with kids more often! |

| Jayden is 7 years old and pure boy. He loves to run and wrestle and play sports. He loves the playstation though we limit his play time to about 1 day per week.
He is super friendly and super loud, he enjoys signing and making up his own songs.
He is super fond of Ben Ten and tons of other cartoons though he is more imaginative than he is one to resort to playing with action figures or things of that nature. If he has someone to play with them then he likes them otherwise he is more likely to be outside or using his imagination.
Our family is very non-traditional. I am no longer with my son's father and he is not very involved in his life. My partner, Justin is very good with Jayden and they are super close. We are parents who are still individuals. We didnt sacrifice our identity or our personalities when we took on the role of ma' or pa'.
We love having backyard bbq's with kids running around, being loud and getting the chance to just be kids. We love to sit back and chill out with adults and have real conversations that extend beyond just our children, but our own interests and pursuits. |
