About Me
I am a mom to an 8 month old girl and I am concerned about doing whats best for her. I don't know if she is getting enough stimulation and this concerns me. I question if she gets enough attention or if we should speak to her more often than we do. I would like to know what other moms or dads do for emotional stimulation. She is very busy so it is hard to get her attention to read to her. She sleeps really good, so at night we haven't been in the practice of reading to her. I am looking for other parents that feel the same way, have the same concerns and maybe have some advice on what we can do. Thanks for any support and response.

About My Family
Our daughter Alivia is almost 8 months, very active, loves people, outdoors, tv, sleeps really good, hearty appetite. She has spent lots of time away from her dad and me. Recently we went to Dominican and she stayed with her grandmother and had no issues. Also had a few other sleepovers with her other grandparents and they always say how much of a treat and good baby she is. I agree with this. However, her dad and me I notice, don't talk to her on a regular basis, and she fusses each time we leave the room. As long as we are in the room she is fine but to get a drink in the kitchen she fusses and cries. Her dad, Shawn works fulltime and works odd hours. He doesn't spend alot of time with her accept on the weekends.
