| I am currently a SAHM of Gavie: my 2 1/2 year old daughter. I just left my job to stay at home and spend time with my Daughter and Husband before he leaves for his First deployment in April to Iraq. I am new to being a military wife (since my husband just joined last year). My hopes are to meet other mom's with toddler's for play dates/outings and maybe develop some new friendships.

| My little girl is 2 1/2 years old - going on 21 LOL. Her name is Gavriella Jade but her nickname is Gavie. She is my first and only child. She loves to play on Sesame Street on-line, on my ipod touch and on her Leapster with her Dora game. Oh-she Love's Dora the explorer, Mickey Mouse Club House, Sponge Bob, and she Love's to Dance and sing. She wants Ice Cream and cookies the moment she wakes up- of course she doesn't get it. But she thinks she should get it whenever she wants.
I have been with my husband since I was 18. We got married when I was 24 and this year will be our 5 year anniversary of being Married. We got married on Kahala Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. We can't wait to go back someday and take our daughter.
My husband just joined the Army National Guard last year. He graduated from boot camp in Mid. Dec. 2008 and it looks like he will be leaving us in April to deploy over-sea's. My husband and I both worked in the Casino industry for many years. He still works in a Local casino and I was working in property management at a apartment complex. I have left this job to spend all the time I can with my husband before he leaves. I also missed the close connection I had with my daughter. I stayed at home with her until she was 1 year until I went back to work, I breast feed until she was 1 1/2 years old. We use to be so close, but when I started back to work and worked M-F 8-5pm and didn't get to pick her up from daycare until nearly 6pm then had to rush home to get her dinner and a bath, we hardly had anytime left for playtime or quality mother daughter time before bed. Me being home with her has already made a huge difference in the way we interact together. We are no longer Running to beat the clock.
Gavie does still go to daycare 2-3 days a week. One so she can still see her friends and socialize and have some structure when it comes to Nap time. Two so we don't lose her stop so when I am ready to find a New job I won't have to fight to find her a New Daycare, plus she really LOVES her teacher at daycare
