| I am a graduate student Mom pursuing her Ph.D. in American Studies & Ethnicity at USC. I consider myself a feminist mom: I don't work just because I have to; I work because I want to. At the same time, I struggle to do my intellectual work (writing, reading, grading) at home while with my 7.5 month old daughter. My husband is a suddenly-stay-at-home Dad because of the current economy. And this is stressful for us both, in a number of different ways. |

| I have a 7.5 month old daughter who seems quite content and accommodating, but we're having the hardest time getting her to fall asleep on her own lately. I think my husband is a better parent than I am. He would like to be a permanent stay-at-home-dad, if we can ever afford that. |
