| I am a stay at home mom to two preemies. My son who was born 6 weeks premature and will be turning two in Feb. and my daughter who was born 5 weeks premature and just turned 6 months old. |

| MY son was such a laid back baby, everyone kept telling us how lucky we were. He slept through the night since day 1. Never cried unless he was hungry or needed to be changed. Now, however, hes a toddler and just so impatient about everything. Hes a good kid overall though. Now my daughter on the other hand, she was the complete opposite of him. Shes got some lungs on her and she cries a lot. It took her a while before she would sleep through the night. About 2 months ago, she finally started sleeping through the night unless shes sick. My son had no problems with being held by different people. In fact he didnt care if someone came to watch him while my husband and I left, he just look at us and than go play and thats that. My daughter on the other hand, is getting to where she only wants me to hold her at times. With new people she would cry, she even does that with people she knows too accept for me. She is only 6 months though, so we will see what happens later. Now my husband, hes so awesome. Hes been there through everything. He would stay with me the whole time while I was at the hospital with both kids. He would than go home, take care of our animals get cleaned up and than come back up to stay with me the rest of the time. Hes just been so awesome. He helps me out as much as he can with both kids. Especially when I am sick, he will send me to bed and take care of the kids the rest of the night even though he put in a full day at work. I dont know how I got so lucky to find him. |
