| Hi! I am never bored - I enjoy almost anything, except Wal-Mart. Right now, I'm in a fellowship program for military spouses to earn my certification in financial counseling. Some of my other goals are: to run a half-marathon before I'm 30 (tick, tick, tick), be a certified yoga instructor, learn to bake a decent loaf of bread and plant a garden that lives for more than two weeks! Those last two things might honestly never happen, though!
I like things organized, and I like to be prepared and on-time, but I'm flexible about the chaos that accompanies child-rearing and I have a good sense of humor, so it doesn't wreck my day if things don't go exactly like I thought they would.
I LOVE planning parties, but my favorite place to be during a party is washing dishes in the kitchen. I also love Target and Coke Zero and Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products. A treat for me would be a pedicure, a blowout (NOT the diaper kind!) and coming home to a clean house that I myself didn't have to clean. =)
I'd like to use this service to meet other moms who share some of my interests, and who I can sometimes talk to about stuff other than diaper rash, preschools, and what's for dinner. =) |

| My husband is a big, bad Marine. =) He's unbelievably hardworking and driven, he's funny, smart, and way into health and fitness. He's training for the upcoming 70.3 triathlon, which I think is NUTS, but he likes the challenge. =)
Carly is my oldest. She's three, and my little sunshine. I honestly believe that girl could make friends with a rock. She adores Thomas the Train, loves her school and is a true Cancer baby with her love of all things cozy and familiar. Carly is not a fan of not getting a full, complete (and TRUE) answer to her many, many ceaseless questions and she can be a bit of a mess...I know it sounds cheesy, but she really makes me a better person. =)
Bree is our sweet baby. As of this writing, she's four and a half months old and is (as of right this moment) REALLY mad about going to sleep in her crib. She's a serious, very focused baby and can stare at a person or a thing for minutes on end, just trying to figure it out. It's so fun to watch her little personality develop and SO fun to watch my girls develop their sister relationship! |
