I am working on my third year as being a stay at home mom. Before Amelie, I was a Spanish teacher at a private university. I also taught 10 years at the high school level. My passion is teaching Spanish, cooking, and my family. I also love to read. I enjoy being a stay at home mom, but I do miss the professional life and hope to one day return to teaching...unitl then, I am excited to meet other moms and their children. |

My husband John is also a high school Spanish teacher, he currently teaches for Douglas County Schools, ThunderRidge. We are both avid travelers and readers. We met at Vanderbilt University in a summer graduate program, and married the following summer. Our daughter is 2 1/2 and she is somewhat shy, but very loving and she loves music. Oliver is only 3 months old and he is a big boy and has a great smile and giggle. We hope to be able to travel the United States and world with the kids and give them a global and cultural education that we have been fortunate to enjoy. |
