| I'm a quirky person unlike any one else I've ever met.
I enjoy a lot of things, and am constantly coming up with new hobbies.
I'm an old fashioned gal, with a lot of new-fangled ideas. I'm a hippy at heart: I pick up litter, use re-usable bags, clean with green cleaners, and prefer to make food from scratch. I even like tofu--- almost as much as I like steak.
I run a Mommy-blog about my son Captain Chaos, and I'm expecting another child early next year.
Being a Mom is the greatest adventure I've ever had, and while there are days I could scream and pull my hair out, there are also days that I love to give kisses and cuddles more.
I'm a stay-at-home Mom primarily due to long-term health issues, but I try to never let my health get in the way of raising happy, healthy, and active children.
(Just as a note, I'm not incredibly religious, but don't mind if my friends are--- as long as they don't attempt to change me or my family.) |

| Brie is 11, and has Asperger's. She lives with her Grandma in East Texas because change doesn't work very well for her and well, nothing ever changes in that little town.
Em is 8 and visits during the summers. She's a diva and knows it. I'm trying to break her from her habit of whining when she wants something, but it's slow going. She loves to read and cook.
Alex -4- (also known as Captain Chaos) is, well... chaotic. He's very very bright and very very active and tends to come up with some very creative mischief. At the same time, he's a very sweet little boy who loves hugs, kisses, and his "Bear".
And early next year we should be adding "Rayne" to our family if all goes well.
Kyle, the hubby, is my Geek, and I love him dearly. He's my second husband, and is a wonderful man. He loves things like grilling and chili-cook-offs just as much as he likes sushi and fine dining. He's a gamer, a geek, and a computer nut. Sadly he doesn't share my love of sports, but I think I'll keep him despite it. |
