| Jeff and I have been married for 11 years. He drives a truck, so we have very little time together. I am mostly a stay at home mom, but I am also a Licensed Kindermusik Educator! I operate my own program in Story City. I don't have a whole lot of free time right now, but when I do have a few moments, I like to watch movies (something without a talking animal) and listen to music. I wish I had more time to read - to myself! But I figure my little one will be reading to himself soon enough!
Before the kids came along I used to do a lot of acting. Mostly local theater, but some industrial shows too. Those were fun because there was a paycheck involved! I did several voice overs for radio commercials and I sang for a few jingles, etc. Now the only paycheck I ever see is for singing in the occasional funeral.
I am the "Very Proud Leader" of Girl Scout Troop 610. They have just bridged to Junior Girl Scouts and I am so excited for them!
Other Tidbits:
I am concerned about the environment, but I absolutely hate to take the cans and bottles back. I have discovered that I can repeat myself 6 times before I lose it! (Other Moms will know what I mean!) I look really good in pink, but I only own one pink shirt. My hair is naturally curly. I used to blow dry it straight all the time, but now, in my mid-thirties, I am finally beginning to accept that I am supposed to have curly hair! Most of my friends only call me on my cell phone. Whenever the home phone rings, it is rarely for me. I am trying to cook Lebanese food like my Grandma Nell. I have so far mastered only one recipe! I now have to wear reading glasses as well as contact lenses. I always make a wish when I see the clock at 11:11. I hold a grudge for a really long time. I love a good bargain. My favorite item on my desk in my label maker. Everything has a label. My daughter has two guinea pigs that are not only brothers, but lovers as well. "Not that there's anything wrong with that." I am quite competitive when playing cards or board games. I have a good poker face. My calendar is color-coded.

| Janey is now a pre-teen and it's been interesting! She has been diagnosed with ADD and getting her the help she needs has been a rough road. She seems to be doing well now, but her self confidence is in need of some help. She enjoys dance, riding her bike, softball, Girls Scouts and computer time.
Joey is a very smart 6 year old. He's complaining now that Kindergarten is too easy! He enjoys riding his bike, plating T-Ball, riding his bike and computer and video games. |
