| I'm a first time mom and Loving it!
About me?? Hmmm...let's see....
I'm an Air Force Brat...born in Maine, lived in Central NY, then relocated to Omaha, NE, and finally brought back to Upstate NY for my dad to retire.
I have spent the majority of my life on Horse back, showing jumpers all over the US and Canada.
After a short stint as a horse trainer, I gave that up and now spend my free time writing. I have two published books and am trying desperately to find time with a new baby to finish my next book....and that is not to mention the "novel" I have half written.
I LOVE football and spent the past 5 years coaching Pop Warner Cheerleading...which I finally gave up this year so that I could spend time with my child rather then everyone else's.
I can't get over motherhood....how much I love and adore her, and how bright and wonderful she is. I could hold her for days and just stare at her...she is the light of my life...but I'm sure you all already know that feeling.
I hope to meet other moms from the central NY area on here...maybe some new friends... |

| After 10 years of unexplained infertility, my husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl in June 2007. Our family finally grew through a private, domestic, semi-open adoption.
I Joined Raisingthem to find other new moms to chat with about first time parenting and how wonderful and how sometimes difficult it can be.
I was also hoping to find other adoptive parents to share (& Compare) this rollercoaster ride with.
I also think it would be nice to find Mom's (or dad's I guess) in the Central NY area to connect with....maybe get together for coffee or play dates!
