I am a stay at home Mother of four. I have a ten year old, a three year old, a one and a half year old and a two week old. That's right three boys and one girl. My husban works second shift which leaves me with the kids durring the hardest time of the day, dinner and bed time. I like to think of myself as a hard worker and multitasks well but I often get frustrated. I take care of everything that has to do with the house, includong paying bills, with the exception of some repairs. I'm not the most organized person but I am a creature of habbit and have my rituals thoughout the day. Everyone is on a schedual but I often have little to no time for myself. So, I am looking fo other mothers to get advice from and befriend. I think a strong support group is the best thinjg when you are having tough times.

four children
10 yr old - Very smart, sometimes too smart for his own good, very technical, takes everything litterally. He can very helpfull when I need him to be but other times he can really drag his feet, like with homework.
5 year old - Can be very sweet, Bullies his little sister all the time often hurting her and leaving lasting marks. He is our problem child. He has temper tantrums but takes them out on whoever is near by, often me. He has thrown toys at me, spit, kicked, hit, and even pinched me. Refuses to sit in a "time out " unless you stand there with him. He has drawn blood on my ten year old, pushes, steps, jumps, and tries to smother his sister. I am at a loss with him. I love him but he drives me to the edge too often. Did I mention he climbs everything including gates and dressers. Nothing is safe.
1 1/2 yr old - She is the "Princess" she has to be the center of attention. If not she becomes wiiney, or throws a fit. When she screams you can loose your hearingbreifly if you are holding her while she is doing it. She eats anything and everything. We have to watch what is left around the house incase she thinks it's food. She is learning from her brother how to talk back. Sometimes she will smack me in the face if she isn't getting her way. But I expect that at her age.
2 week old - So far so good. He is very perdictable. eats and sleeps on a schedual. Not a crabby baby at all. |
