When I moved to Nashville 2 years ago, I had no idea that I was about to be given the opportunity to write a book that would shape future generations.
The night before I left home, I wrote my dad a card in which I thanked him for all he had poured into my life, and then I listed his most important life lessons - the ones I would carry with me for the rest of my life. My dad got so excited about the card that he shouted, "Karyn, this is a book!"
The list I wrote in that card have become the chapter titles in our new book, "The Takeaway." When it's all said and done, what will your kids take away from you?
I also wrote a song called, "I'm Taking You With Me." It is already being called, "The daughter's response to Butterfly Kisses." Wow!
