I am 41 years old and the mother of four children ages 9, 6, 5 and 3. My husband travels during the week and is home on the weekends. Obviously there is no spousal support in raising the kids during the week and some days can be very difficult. I'm sure I'm not the only parent out there who is married to a traveling spouse, whether it be the husband or wife traveling. While some issues may be the same for single parents as it is for single parents due to a traveling spouse, there are also some different issues such as holding the relationship together and parenting with your partner on a part-time basis. I am hoping to connect with other moms or dads who also have a traveling spouse.
