I'm looking to bring together a group of working moms and dads with children from 0-3 who live on the northside of Chicago in neighborhoods/communities near the lakefront including, but not limited to, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Uptown, East Andersonville/West Andersonville, Ravenswood, Northcenter, Lincoln Square, Edgewater, and East Roger's Park, with the objective to offer support, share parenting and time-management strategies, possibly meet for mommy/daddy-and-baby outings, and child care information. I'm especially interested in bringing together parents who are available on weekends, and parents with children who have mild to moderate health issues, although the latter is not a requisite to be a part of the group. Right now, focus will be as an online group, with the option to become a group that meets in person, if members are interested.
