Chocolate cake and coconut
Chocolate and coconut marry very well. Try substituting coconut for the almonds and serve with a vanilla cream

Main Ingredients: Chocolate, Eggs, Nuts & Seeds
INGREDIENTS
3 eggs
4 ounces dark chocolate
3 oz of sugar
3 oz of margarine
4.5 oz of grated coconut
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons apricot jam
A pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation time: 45 minutes
Serves 6
Preheat oven to 250° F

1. Melt chocolate and margarine in a double boiler and smooth the mixture.

2. Separate egg yolks from whites and whisk the yolks with the sugar.

3. Add the chocolate and 2/3 coconut and cornstarch.

4. Beat the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and stir them gently.

5. Bake 20 minutes.
