House energy bars
Essential to the lunch box
Great for: Finger Foods, Picnics, School Lunches, Sneaky Nutriton

Main Ingredients: Berries, Chocolate, Grains & Cereals
INGREDIENTS
2 cup rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
1/3 cup coconut, toasted
1/4 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1/4 cup maple syrup
4 c. teaspoon honey
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup melted margarine

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 ° F.

2. In a bowl, combine first seven ingredients. Reserve.

3. In another bowl, combine maple syrup, honey, egg and margarine.

4. Stir into dry ingredients. mix well

5. Spread evenly on a cookie sheet Rectangular 10 x 14 inch lightly greased.

6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the mixture is cooked.

7. Cool and cut about 16 bars.
