Beef Bourguignon

INGREDIENTS
3 lb. of beef
2 cup red wine
6 carrots
10 mushrooms
9 oz. of bacon
2 onions
Salt and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
For 6 persons
1. Fry onions in oil and lard.
2. In a stewpot, cook the meat over high heat for 5 minutes
3. Add wine, sliced carrots, mushrooms.
4. Add salt and pepper and simmer over low heat for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve with potatoes to steam.
