Grandmother's chili
Chili
Great for: Comfort Food, Freezing
Courses: Side Dish
Main Ingredients: Beef, Tomatoes, Vegetables
INGREDIENTS
one onion, diced
2-3 cups chopped celery
1 bell pepper, diced
1 package McCormick chili powder
1 can tomato paste
1-2 cans kidney beans
1 can diced tomatos
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Brown meat, drain any fat.

2. Add tomato paste and chili powder, stir.

3. Add the veggies.

4. Add enough water to cover veggies, bring to a boil and then simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours.

5. Then add the beans and diced tomatos and simmer for another 30-45 minutes.

6. Makes tons of chili and is easy to freeze.
