Hi Terri,

with an infant there is never enough time between the feeding, changing and napping!

What is your town has to offer? Do they have music class for babies, or moms and baby yoga, which is kind of fun because it is a way to stay in shape and to meet other parents.

Also you can take advantage to the fact he is still in a stroller to go to an exhibitions or zoo, maybe he could be interested by colors or animals.

Hello, I'm in the same situation as to finding other mothers around the age of 40 with young children. My friends are so used to me not having a child that it seems I can only do things with those friends if my son is not along. I work full time so I do not want to have to sacrifice more time with my son just to be able to spend time with friends.

As for things to do with a 7 month old infant, we would take our son to the nearby park, on long walks, to restaurants with outdoor eating areas, to the zoo, shopping expeditions, etc.  He also loves books so the childrens section of the library was fun for him.

I am 48 and my son will turn two tomorrow. I found a mom who is 41 with  a one year old online, she lives close to me. Keep on looking we are out there and it is OK if they are younger like in their thirties. what matters really is your child.
