| my son who is 1 1/2 going to be 2yrs old on the 27th of this month and i want to know if i should start potty training him yet or wait until he's ready all by himself my first son was potty trained by 2 1/2 yrs old thanks crystal |

| I'd wait a little longer - my pedi said boys are usually ready closer to 3 years old. |

| I have a little girl who will be two in just a couple of days. She refuses to have anything to do with potty training. She is completely conversational and knows what it is, what its for and wants to wear panties but anytime I mention trying to use the potty she says NO! I dont want to!! Any suggestions? |

| I agree with Lauren. Boys are usually ready at three years old and that is the age that my son was fully potty-trained. |
