Read any good books lately?
Hey, all you attachment-minded mommies (and dads!). My son is 13 months old, and it is only really in response to my not wanting to let him CIO at 4 months old that I even discovered the parenting philosophy of attachment parenting. Since then, I have been reading voraciously on the subject, and seem to always have a book on hold at the local library.

Favourites that I have read recently are:
The No-Cry Discipline Solution by Elizabeth Pantley
Raising Your Spirited Child by Mary Sheedy Kurcinka
Natural Family Living by Peggy O'Mara

All of them have been excellent food for thought, even when I didn't agree 100% with the author's perspective.

Does anyone want to share other books or resources that have helped them learn more about attachment parenting?

I read anything by Doctor Sears - going right to the source right? :)

I have read a few things by Dr. Sears. I enjoy his books, but find the ones in the Sears Parenting Library to get a little repetitive after I have read a few. I have read The Baby Sleep Book, and The Attachment Parenting Book cover to cover, though.

I find Dr. Sears has written the forewords to a lot of other books I have enjoyed. O'Mara's (that listed above) and Pantley's (No Cry Sleep Solution) come to mind most immediately, but I have a British book, The Natural Baby, by Janet Balaskas, that he has written the foreword in as well. All have been excellent books.
