Things to do?
Any suggestions for things to do, when at home all the time. I have a 4 month old, I have no car and am getting a bit stir crazy. I cannot go outside much due to the winter weather ( Washington State). Any suggestions on not being so stir crazy?
Thanks!

Yes we can all go a bit stir crazy at times, and all the cleaning, get old after while, you could do reorganizing of closets or baby clothes and thing. Have you tried scrap booking, reading a good book, chatting with other moms here has helped alot. Good luck.

Hi Tracie,
I understand completle what you are going through, I live in Havre Montana and right now we only have one car although I will be getting mine in Feb (it is in Billings [250 miles]).
Have you tried having a small playgroup at your house once in awhile? I am going to try that. The other thing I do is scrapbooking, although we have moved so much I haven't done as much as I like. This is all I got hope it helps.
I am getting tired of doing the same things over and over. If you come up with a good idea pass it my way and I will do the same.

check out meetup.com for a playgroup near you... some meet at mall play areas, libraries, churches, in-home playdates... it has been a godsend for me!

Thank you! I will try those things.

Hi Tracie! You are definitely NOT alone! I thought I was going stir crazy too (or just plain crazy! haha!) I tried meetups.com and it was the best thing I ever did. My 8 month old daughter and I now belong to a local playgroup and we really enjoy doing things with them. The group has a lot of good ideas on things to do. Hope this helps sweetie! Sorry I posted this twice I didn't mean too!

Hi Tracie! I know exactly how you feel. I have been working on a scrapbook for my daughter who is 2 months. I also got a couple of books for when she is napping. The playgroups also sound like a great idea. The weather for me is the biggest factor.
