| Have ya'll heard of Music with Mar? It's a music class for all ages from 6mos to 5 yrs old I believe. There are classes in Blue Springs and Lees Summit. I heard it was great. The kids play instuments, sing and dance. The class is only 7.00 for the family and 30.00 for 5 classes. I think I'm going to take my daughter and try it out! They have different times and days to meet your needs. Also there is a Stretch and Grow at the Vesper Hall in Blue Srpings. I believe that is 5.00 at class. It's from ages 2-5. Looking for other ideas to do inside. Can't wait till Spring :) |

There is actually a free Music With Mar this Saturday at Blue Springs South Library:

This educational music program is designed to enhance your child's social, motor, language and cognitive skills. For ages 6 months to 5 years, and an adult who will stay and participate in the program.

I have been to a few of the free classes. Most kids there love it. The free classes are always the same. The instructor uses a frog puppet to engage the kids. They sing the alphabet song and a song where they go around the room introducing all the kids by name. They blow bubbles which my son loves!! Of course then he throws a tantrum with that part's over :) But anyway, you should check out the free one this weekend. I doubt I'll be there since my son will for sure misbehave and my hubby is working so I won't have help. It's hard taking a 2 year old and a 10 month old somewhere like that by myself!!! LOL

| Yes..I'm actually signed up for this Sat.'s free class at the library. I went to the class at the MAnor lastnight and no one showed up??? I guess maybe I need to registar? I need to call. Would earlier in the day be better for you to meet. It seems alot of kids take naps early afternoon. Let me know... |
